📢 Excited to share my Master's thesis journey from HEC Paris. My research focused on a critical yet often overlooked area: "How Femtech Companies Can Address Unmet Needs in the Menstrual Health Industry in Europe."
Key Insights:
🚺 Persistent Gaps: Despite significant advancements, there are still gaps in meeting the menstrual health needs of women in Europe.
🌱 User Preferences: Clear demand for eco-friendly, comfortable period products such as Sisters Republic, Rif care , FEMPO, @So'Cup, Natracare , and personalized solutions for menstrual pain management such as Lucine and Moonai (Techstars '23) .
📚 Education Needs: Opportunity for Femtech to provide accessible, reliable menstrual health information like Clue, Flo Health Inc., Jeen, and Sorella Care are currently doing.
💡 Innovations: New clinical innovations, including the analysis of period blood, will help diagnose and treat conditions more efficiently, e.g., Calla Lily Clinical Care, Daye, while other startups like inne and hormona are helping women take control of their health and data.
🚀 A Solution: My thesis conceptualizes WiseHer a comprehensive digital platform for education, a sustainable marketplace, and community support. Thank you Margot Ayaz for trying to launch this project together and for creating beautiful designs and prototypes!
📄 In the spirit of academic sharing and collaboration, I'm attaching the paper here for you to read and enjoy! (Note: Full business plans and detailed interview appendices are omitted for confidentiality reasons.)
